Observer is a person who takes part in the case study meeting, playing a passive role, observing the communication process in the case study meeting(s).

Mindset can be defined as the established set of attitudes held by someone.
It can also be defined as mental processes, thought processes, way of thinking, frame of mind, mentality etc. (Oxford Dictionary, (n.d.).
Throughout the project development process, the important project related terms can be documented, which forms the glossary of the project. The glossary can be revisited when and where misunderstanding or miscommunication occurs, in order to make sure everyone is on the same page, especially during project meetings or case study meetings.
You can use various methods to develop the glossary together with the project partners, for example, during one of the project partner meetings, we tried interactive games to make the words familiar for everyone and to add new words to it in order to avoid miscommunication. These methods turned out to be very effective in reaching the main aim of the glossary, which is knowledge transfer. Here are some of the methods we used:
Method toolbox is the collection of participation and communication methods and forms the basis for the contents of the Project Planning School.
The purpose of the method adaptation workshops carried out in June and August 2018 was to align the approaches of the scientific partners with the methodology and content of the School and to see how information from the case study observation can be transferred into planning school contents. Adaptation means the action or process of adapting or being adapted. It is the act of changing something to make it suitable for a new purpose or situation. (Collins dictionary, (n.d.))
In B4R context, method adaptation means to adapt or change the methods and findings from the communication and participation research to better suit the needs of future project planners in a way that benefits them in project planning.
